Drugstore products for me historically haven't been the best, but lately, drugstore makeup has really been stepping up it's game! I always considered my skin pretty complicated that required high end products, but as I've been testing more and more products, I've found more and more things that have worked for me that historically haven't worked for me in the past.
Check out my latest holy grail drugstore makeup video and get all the product details down below:
This is the only blush that you will probably ever need! I've been using my palette for quite a while and when I run out of one color, I move on to the next. These blushes aren't very pigmented, which I prefer because I don't like a very pigmented blush. I love how I can build these colors up when needed.
I already reviewed this foundation in my best foundations for oily skin blog, but if you need a refresher, this foundation is super full coverage, does not feel too light weight, great for oily skin and affordable. Only con I had was that the foundation had a slight scent and could use a broader color range.
Best liquid liner on the market! It dries down matte like it claims and I prefer a matte finish over a glossy one. It is a brush tip applicator so be weary if you don't prefer those. You get a lot of product in each tube and will last you quite a while.
I know most people find a brush tip liquid eyeliner to be difficult, so out of merit I'm throwing in this one which was my favorite before I switched to brush tip applicators. This is a felt tip pin that gives you an ultra precise line when needed. This one dries out a bit quicker because it is a felt tip, but hey, it's $6 so who cares?
I also believe this is the best mascara on the market! As I mentioned in the video, I can't get myself to spend a ton of money on high end eyeliners and mascaras, because you find just as good, if not better quality eyeliners and mascaras from the drugstore. This coats every single lash, adds volume, length and curl to your lashes that you can't beat. It does not clump up after multiple layers either.
This should be your go to if you're looking for a comfortable, matte nude lip for a great price. The lip lingeries are very comfortable to wear and for $5 you can't beat them. It's a little difficult to tell the differences between colors because they are all different types of nudes, but you're going to be wanting all of them when you get your hands on em.
I love these specifically because I do not like a very thin band and these have a very sturdy, but flexible band. Sometimes ones with thin bands can look more natural (fyi) but I like to look anything but natural ;) These are full of volume and full of drama which is why I love them.
Best drugstore setting powder on the market. Hands down. They come in a huge variety of different shades which is perfect if you want to buy one to set your under eyes, foundation, contour anything! You can buy 6 of these powders for the price of one Laura Mercier setting powder and the finish and perform the same. So obsessed.
