Briogeo Hair Care: Worth the Money?

I have to admit... I've never really been that into hair care, solely because I always got my hair done. Throughout middle school and high school I have had the wonderful Ms. Mari and Samira working to do my relaxers, my extensions, my keratin treatments, and even bi-weekly washing and styling! I have truly been blessed with the greatest, which is making the move to Vegas that much harder because I refuse to let anyone else touch this hair!

That being said, I've been exploring different hair products that will work with my keratin treated hair number one, and two, my hair has reacted much differently out here which I'm attributing to the dry air (and the fact I don't have extensions anymore... boo). I recently came across Briogeo and decided to try out a few of their products to see if I enjoyed them, and if I did I would go back and buy more.

Briogeo Repair Don't Despair Deep Conditioning Mask

I fell in love with this product the first time I tried it. I actually had two free samples of this from a Sephora purchase and somehow never used them. I decided one day to try it out because my hair desperately needed a good, deep conditioning. My hair has never felt so soft when I did my hair myself than when I used this product.

After I blow dried my hair, it instantly looked silky and soft. The ends of my hair often feel brittle because I [had] a ton of split ends, but even with this deep conditioning mask, my hair felt so smooth and looked very hydrated and healthy.

Briogeo Rosarco Oil

The main reason I bought this was for the ends of my hair. Ms. Mari came to Vegas (a second time) to fix my hair up for me and to help, she trimmed off my split ends. I didn't want anymore to break off so I have been keeping my ends hydrated every other 3-4 days with this oil and it has been a dream. It is non-greasy and adds in the perfect amount of shine and hydration to the ends of my hair.

While I cannot tell if my ends aren't splitting as much or my hair is staying stronger because of this product, that isn't necessarily my goal. I just want to do anything to keep them looking nice and hydrated and this works for me. Fingers crossed it stops my breakage though!

After using these two products, there are a couple more I want to try, including these few:

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray

Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Créme

I will be picking these up over the course of time and coming back to you all with my thoughts, but so far I am more than optimistic.

I'm a huge fan of Briogeo, not just because of how well their products work for me and are sulfate free for keratin treated hair, but they are affordable as well. Their prices are a bit higher than drug store, but also quite lower/semi- on par with salon brands. Not to mention they're gluten free and cruelty free as well.

My final recommendation: check them out. There are tons and tons of amazing hair care brands out there to try and I think I found a great one for the first time that's not directly from the salon (sorry Pureology, you're just getting too expensive for me).
